We recently got in a bunch of rock n' roll basics from Free People, BB Dakota, and MINKPINK! We're talkin' faux leather leggings, raw ankle jeggings (you need these in your life immediately), a sheer, lacey bell sleeve top (perfect for wearing solo or layering under your fave dress), and THE perfect go-with-everything denim mini skirt! We knew this was the perfect opportunity to shoot at dNB's local record shop!
Purchase Street Records is located just around the corner from Calico, and though it's not even a year old, you'd swear it's been there for at LEAST twenty! Owner,
Roger Chouinard, is literally the coolest guy EVER, and was so nice and welcoming to our crew as we crammed into his tiny shop (and I struggled to take some "Jeffrey Campbell" photos with my Canon Rebel and it's built-in flash!) The shop stocks both new and vintage vinyl, as well as tee's, totes, posters, and so much more! The place is lined with crate upon crate of records and the walls are covered in black light posters, velvet paintings, and hand-lettered signs!
